Hampton Inn & Suites Greenville-Downtown-RiverPlace

It was an older hotel, so room was smaller than newer ones. However, the experience overall was a 5 based on the cleanliness and the very helpful and friendly staff. Note: the breakfast is NOT included in the room cost and is pricey but really delicious. I would definately stay here again. Thank you to all who worked there on Valentine's Day and that following morning. You made my heart happy ❣

Great location. Welcomed at check in. Room was clean. Hotel Clean. Breakfast area staff pleasant and friendly. Check out was quick and easy. I was asked to come back and stay again. Overall, a great say. I do have to take a moment and mention Tammy G. I went down to the lobby to get a snack and we ended up having a conversation for about a half hour. She was just so warm and friendly, I felt like I knew her for years. Way to make your guests feel welcomed.

Nice Hotel! We enjoyed our two nights in the circular suite! Oh my! This was like a welcoming small apartment with two bathrooms! The king bed was VERY comfortable! The door to the entrance of the room, very cute, the circular windows are such a bonus, letting all the natural light in with views of downtown. Loved the vanity mirror in the big bathroom, the walk in shower, the couch in the living room area. Loved everything about this place! Loved getting to walk down at the falls which was literally out the door and down the steps! Restaurants in walking distance was great! All staff at the front desk we encountered were welcoming and friendly! Breakfast was good! The older gentleman (didn’t get his name) made my waffles for me and they were delicious! Very kind and helpful. The staff were just pleasant all around! Would definitely stay here again! Thankful for the experience!

This location is really great. The continental breakfast has a very good selection. The staff here is wonderful. Super efficient and attends to your every need. Had a family health emergency unexpectedly this morning and Tammy from the front desk handled the entire situation so professionally & beautifully, even checking on us to make sure everything was going all right. She is truly an asset to Hampton Inn for sure! The additional staff has been extremely thoughtful and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again. Everything is first rate and professionally attendeded to. The boardwalk was also great for a romantic stroll and quaint shopping. The little river along side the hotel makes for a nice view.
